Vacancy for the post of Marketing Executive

The Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Executive.

Job Profile: Primary duties include the following:

• Prepare daily, monthly, and bi-monthly trade reports; collect, update, and analyze trade and market data for internal briefs and website updates
• Identify potential business partners and agents for Indian products; maintain database of Indian–Vietnamese importers/exporters
• Research and report on local business regulations, market opportunities, competitive environment, and market entry strategies
• Monitor Indian–Vietnamese investments, mergers, and acquisitions; track trade policy updates and relevant online resources
• Respond to trade-related queries and assist in resolving trade dispute cases
• Organize and support trade promotion activities including B2B meetings, roadshows, seminars, and trade fairs
• Liaise with Vietnamese companies, chambers, and government agencies (e.g., MOIT, VCCI) to arrange meetings and build connections
• Assist Indian businesses in connecting with Vietnamese partners and officials; provide Vietnamese businesses with information on opportunities in India
• Handle protocol and coordination duties for visiting trade delegations
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

Age: Between 22 to 35 years.

Working Hours: Full time 09:00 to 17:30 (with half hour lunch break), Monday to Friday, except Consulate holidays. The Marketing Executive may also be asked to work after office hours or on weekends, in order to assist with the hosting of events by the Consulate. 

Salary: Basic Pay Scale 850-25-1225-37-1595-48-2075 (in USD) per month.

Benefits: In addition to Salary, Social Security, Health Insurance and Unemployment Insurance shall be paid as per guidelines of Service Company to Foreign Mission.

Leave: Admissible annual leave and sick leave with pay.

Qualification Requirements: The applicants must possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Commerce, Economics, Business, Marketing, or Commercial Law)
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of international trade issues, incl. intellectual property rights
• Experience in trade analysis within political/economic contexts
• Familiar with government procedures and policy frameworks
• Strong communication, teamwork, and event planning skills
• Eager to learn and able to work diligently

Period of Employment: Upon successful completion of probation of three months, Marketing Executive shall be treated as full time employee of the Consulate.
