The Indian Rice Exporters’ Federation (IREF), in collaboration with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is organizing the Bharat International Rice Conference 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from October 30–31, 2025. As the world’s largest producer and exporter of rice—including basmati—India is hosting this landmark event to showcase its diverse, high-quality rice varieties and strengthen its role in global food security.

BIRC 2025 will be the largest rice-focused exhibition and conference ever held in India, bringing together stakeholders from across the rice value chain. Participants will include rice exporters and importers, research and technology organizations, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), startups offering value-added products, financial institutions, shipment agencies, and relevant government bodies. The event aims to foster strategic partnerships, promote sustainable exports, and enhance livelihoods for farmers through expanded global market access.
