Our 79th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2025 by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. Following a flag hoisting ceremony in the morning which included cultural performances by Vietnamese students as well as members of the Indian diaspora, a reception was held in the evening which had participation of Vice Chairperson of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Representatives of Government Departments, Consular Corps, Educational Institutions, Trade and Business Associations, Local enterprises, Media and members of the Indian community.

Ngày 15.8.2025, Tổng Lãnh sự quán Ấn Độ tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh đã long trọng tổ chức kỷ niệm 79 năm Ngày Độc lập của Ấn Độ. Buổi sáng, Lễ Thượng Cờ trang nghiêm, với sự góp mặt của các sinh viên Việt Nam và cộng đồng người Ấn Độ với các tiết mục văn nghệ đặc sắc. Buổi tối, Tổng Lãnh sự quán đã tổ chức tiệc chiêu đãi với sự tham dự của Phó Chủ tịch UBND TP. Hồ Chí Minh, đại diện các cơ quan ban ngành, lãnh sự đoàn, các cơ sở giáo dục, hiệp hội thương mại, doanh nghiệp địa phương, báo đài và cộng đồng người Ấn”.
