Visit of Consul General to Kien Giang Province from 20-23/04/2023

The Indian Consul General visited Kien Giang Province from April 20th to April 23rd, 2023 and met with several officials. During the visit, the Consul General had a productive meeting with H.E. Mr. Le Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee, where they discussed and agreed to host a range of activities related to trade, investment, tourism, healthcare, education, and yoga in 2023. The Consul General also met with the Vice Director of the Kien Giang Police Department on the same day. Additionally, the Trade, Investment, and Tourism Promotion Center (KITRA) also agreed on principal to organize a Business Conference between India and Kien Giang Province in June. On April 22nd, the Consul General had a significant meeting with 10 tour operators in Phu Quoc City to explore ways to strengthen tourism between the two sides.
