Ho Chi Minh City - Excellent discussions and exchange of experiences between eminent doctors of India and Vietnam on the management of COVID-19. Ambassador Pranay Verma underlined the value of close consultations and cooperation between India and Vietnam in their common fight against COVID-19 and welcomed an eminent panel of experts from the two sides led by Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, and Dr. Do Ngoc Son, Head of Critical Care Unit, Deputy Director of Center for Emergency Medicine from Bach Mai Hospital-cum-Secretary General of Vietnamese Society of Emergency Medicine (VSEM) at a webinar hosted by the Consulate General of India in HCM City and INCHAM Vietnam on 25th September 2021 as part of the series of events to mark the #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav.

The Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) and Mega Lifesciences Vietnam organized a webinar titled "MANAGEMENT & TREATMENT OF COVID-19: EXPERIENCES FROM INDIA" on Saturday, 25th September 2021. The objective behind organizing the webinar was to exchange information on the latest treatment in the area of Covid-19 between doctors of both countries.

2. The webinar was attended by 8 senior experts from different institutes and hospitals in India and Vietnam, and 900 doctors, medical staff, and students from Vietnam and India. The webinar received the attendance of the Ambassador of India to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Pranay Verma; Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, and several doctors from India and Vietnam.

3. Ambassador of India to Vietnam H.E. Mr. Pranay Verma in the welcome remarks mentioned that this event is aimed to share information and experience among colleagues in Vietnam and India, both countries seriously suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic in the last 6 months. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thai, a specialist from the Infectious Disease Department of Bach Mai hospital shared Vietnam’s point of view on the 4 waves of Covid pandemic in Vietnam and how Vietnam is implementing the 3-tier model of Covid-19 case management. Prof. Randeep Guleria, Director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi spoke on the effects of Covid in India and shared the experience of the country in treatment, vaccination and recovery. Dr. Huynh Tan Dat, Specialist of Endocrinology, Ho Chi Minh City Medical University Hospital spoke about the direct and indirect effects of COVID-19 on diabetic patients which post many challenges and demand adaptability in treatment for diabetic patients in the pandemic.

4. Dr. Shashank Joshi, Department of Diabetology and Endocrinology, Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai shared with the participants the wide range of new, returning, or ongoing health problems, physically, neurologically, and mentally, associated with the long-term effects of COVID-19, thus, emphasized the importance of vaccination and herd immunity to prevent the spread of the virus. Dr. S. Suresh Sagadevan, Consultant & Interventional Pulmonologist, Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai shared about the late complications (post-acute and chronic) after COVID-19 and shared treatment details on multiple case studies. Dr. Samiran Panda Scientist 'G' & Head, Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases (ECD) Division, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) spoke about the evolution of COVID-19 variants as the virus becomes more and more contagious, dangerous, and resistant to vaccination. As the virus adapts, more research is required for theCOVID-19 prevention efforts to adapt accordingly.

5. The Consulate General of India has the honour to inform that this is the 2nd time the Consulate has organized a medical webinar between doctors from India and Vietnam in recent months. More number of webinars have been planned in different medical subjects related to diseases associated with kidney, heart, liver, brain, spine etc.

6. This is our firm belief that it will lead to strong cooperation between the medical fraternity of both countries and explore training cooperation not only in COVID-19 treatment but also in advance medical and surgical care in India for doctors/ nurses/ paramedical staff from Vietnam.

TP. Hồ Chí Minh - Các bài chia sẻ và trao đổi kinh nghiệm giữa các bác sĩ hàng đầu của Ấn Độ và Việt Nam về quản lý COVID-19. Đại sứ Pranay Verma nhấn mạnh giá trị của các cuộc tham vấn và hợp tác chặt chẽ giữa Ấn Độ và Việt Nam trong cuộc chiến chung chống đại dịch COVID-19 và hoan nghênh sự tham dự của các bác sĩ hai quốc gia do Giáo sư Bác sĩ Randeep Guleria, Giám đốc Học viện Y khoa toàn Ấn Độ AIIMS, New Delhi, và Bác sĩ Đỗ Ngọc Sơn, Trưởng đơn vị chăm sóc đặc biệt, Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm Hồi sức Cấp cứu Bệnh viện Bạch Mai kiêm Tổng Thư ký Hội Y học Cấp cứu Việt Nam (VSEM) tại hội thảo trực tuyến do Tổng Lãnh sự quán Ấn Độ tại TP.HCM và INCHAM Việt Nam tổ chức vào ngày 25 tháng 9 năm 2021 trong chuỗi sự kiện chào mừng #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav.

Tổng Lãnh sự quán Ấn Độ tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh phối hợp với Hiệp hội doanh nghiệp Ấn Độ tại Việt Nam (INCHAM) và Công ty Mega Lifesciences tổ chức hội thảo trực tuyến chủ đề "QUẢN Lý Và ĐIỀU TRỊ COVID-19: KINH NGHIỆM TỪ ẤN ĐỘ" vào thứ Bảy, ngày 25 tháng 9 năm 2021. Mục đích của hội thảo trực tuyến nhằm thúc đẩy trao đổi thông tin về phương pháp mới nhất trong việc điều trị bệnh nhân Covid-19 giữa bác sĩ của hai quốc gia.

2. Hội thảo trực tuyến có sự tham gia của 8 chuyên gia cấp cao đến từ các viện nghiên cứu và bệnh viện Ấn Độ và Việt Nam cùng hơn 900 bác sĩ, nhân viên y tế và sinh viên y khoa tại Việt Nam. Ngoài ra, hội thảo còn có sự tham dự của Ngài Pranay Verma - Đại sứ Ấn Độ tại Việt Nam; ông Madan Mohan Sethi - Tổng Lãnh sự Ấn Độ tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh cùng các bác sĩ đến từ Ấn Độ và Việt Nam.

3. Trong bài phát biểu khai mạc, Đại sứ Ấn Độ tại Việt Nam ông Pranay Verma cho biết hội thảo trực tuyến nhằm mục đích chia sẻ thông tin và kinh nghiệm trong điều trị giữa các bác sĩ tại Việt Nam và Ấn Độ - hai quốc gia chịu ảnh hưởng nặng nề từ dịch Covid-19 trong 6 tháng vừa qua. Bác sĩ Nguyễn Quốc Thái, chuyên gia Khoa bệnh truyền nhiễm, bệnh viện Bạch Mai chia sẻ quan điểm của Việt Nam về 4 đợt đại dịch Covid ở Việt Nam và cách triển khai mô hình ‘tháp 3 tầng’ điều trị các ca bệnh Covid-19. Giáo sư Bác sĩ Randeep Guleria, Giám đốc Học viện Y khoa toàn Ấn Độ trình bày về ảnh hưởng của đại dịch Covid tại Ấn Độ và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm của đất nước trong việc điều trị, tiêm chủng và phục hồi. Bác sĩ Huỳnh Tấn Đạt, Chuyên gia khoa Nội tiết, Bệnh viện Đại học Y dược TP.HCM chia sẻ về tác động trực tiếp và gián tiếp của COVID-19 đối với bệnh nhân đái tháo đường, đặt ra nhiều thách thức và đòi hỏi khả năng thích ứng trong điều trị cho bệnh nhân đái tháo đường nhiễm Covid.

Bác sĩ Shashank Joshi, Khoa bệnh Đái tháo đường và Nội tiết, Bệnh viện Lilavati, Mumbai chia sẻ hàng loạt các vấn đề sức khỏe mới, đang trở lại hoặc đang diễn ra, về thể chất và tinh thần, liên quan đến ảnh hưởng lâu dài của COVID-19; nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc tiêm phòng và đạt miễn dịch cộng đồng để ngăn chặn sự lây lan của vi rút. Bác sĩ S. Suresh Sagadevan, Chuyên gia tư vấn phẫu thuật, Tổ chức Y tế Toàn cầu Gleneagles, TP. Chennai chia sẻ về các biến chứng muộn (sau cấp tính và mãn tính) sau COVID-19 và chia sẻ chi tiết điều trị trên nhiều nghiên cứu trường hợp. Bác sĩ Samiran Panda Trưởng Bộ phận dịch tễ học & bệnh truyền nhiễm, Hội Đồng Nghiên Cứu Y học Ấn Độ phát biểu về sự phát triển của các biến thể COVID-19 khi virus ngày càng lây lan, nguy hiểm và kháng thuốc tiêm chủng. Khi vi rút thích nghi, cần có nhiều nghiên cứu hơn để các nỗ lực phòng chống COVID-19 được áp dụng phù hợp.

5. Tổng Lãnh Sự Quán Ấn Độ thông báo đây là lần thứ hai Tổng Lãnh sự quán tổ chức hội thảo trực tuyến về ngành y giữa các bác sĩ đến từ Ấn Độ và Việt Nam. Các hội thảo trực tuyến khác liên quan đến ngành y cũng đang được lên kế hoạch về các chủ đề khác nhau như thận, tim, gan, não, cột sống, v.v.

6. Tổng Lãnh sự quán Ấn Độ tin tưởng rằng hội thảo này sẽ thúc đẩy sự hợp tác bền chặt giữa các hiệp hội y khoa từ hai quốc gia, và tìm hiểu khả năng hợp tác đào tạo trong điều trị Covid và nâng cao trong lĩnh vực y học, phẫu thuật tại Ấn Độ cho các bác sĩ / y tá / nhân viên y tế của Việt Nam.
